Bare Bones Press and Productions wants to bring awareness to the diversity and visibility of the queer experience through creative media. Through literature, blogs, presentations, and collaborative efforts, Bare Bones helps to create a community of mindful consumers. We believe it’s important to see ourselves reflected in mass media with the rich variety we see in reality. Connecting of creators and audiences allows us to demarginalize the marginalized, one story at a time. 

Erin and Twig started Bare Bones Press the summer after they completed grad school. They lamented on the lack of queer representation in the publishing field, when it hit them -- duh -- Let's put our grad school experience to good use and start our own company!
